Boil is a common infection on the skin and looks like a large pimple filled with white pus. Once it forms it is tender on touch and very painful. All you need to do is mix 3 tablespoons of salt in a cup of milk and add some bread crumbs to make the mixture thick. You should apply this mixture several times a day, directly on the boil. Be persistent to see the results faster. Another alternative is a mixture of milk cream, vinegar, and turmeric powder.
Onions contain antiseptic chemicals and are very effective for treating boils. You do not need to mix or cook anything to make a remedy from onion. Just cut a slice of onion, apply it directly on the boil, and wrap it with a piece of cloth. The cloth should stay like that for a few hours so it can draw blood and it can heat the skin inside. To drain out the boil effectively repeat this 3 to 4 times a day.
Where there is onion, there is usually also garlic. It helps in healing the boil since it has antimicrobial and antibacterial features, and stops inflammations.
You can heat the boil with warm compress so you can pull out the pus. Dip a cloth in warm water and put it on the boil. If you want the compress to be more effective, add some salt to the water. Do this 6 times a day, and each time leave the warm compress 10 to 12 minutes on the boil. If you do this right when the boil appears, the boil will stop growing since the white blood cells will act as natural antibiotics.
Turmeric has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties an can treat infections like boils in a short period of time. One way to use it for this purpose is to make a paste from iodine, turmeric, and castor oil and apply it on the boil. Another alternative is to boil a glass of milk or water with a tablespoon of turmeric and drink it 4-5 days, three times a day.
You can also use egg whites to effectively remove boils. Boil the egg first, remove the yellow, and wet the white with some water. Leave it wet and put it directly on the boil. Also, take a cloth and apply it over the white.
Boils can grow fast, intense, and can be very painful. In order to stop the process of growing, drink a lot of water when you notice something is growing on your skin. Your skin cells need water to function properly, and water will stop the process of growing of the boils.
Take a piece of bread, soak it in a warm water or milk, and apply it on the boil to reduce inflammation. Do this twice a day so you can see results. The heat of the bread will help the circulation process and the blood cells will fight the infection.
